1004 I took the EIKEN Grade 1 exam. This time, I did not really want to take it because I knew my English was still not good enough, but I overcame my weaker self and took the exam as a way to train my brain. I performed better and scored more points than last time. I got 95.5% of the vocabulary questions correct. My listening comprehension also improved considerably. However, I do not think I reached the passing score. My reading speed is still too slow, and my listening comprehension is not yet strong enough. EIKEN Grade 1 requires us to read quite quickly. Next time, I want to pass. 0929 Today marks four full days without opening any social media. What a salutary change. I am gradually reclaiming my time, attention, and peace of mind.
